Bucharest Java User Group

Bucharest Java User Group Bucharest community for passionate developers using either Java, Scala, Groovy, Clojure, JRuby or an It was born out of Andrei Savu's initiative.

Our plan is to organise a monthly face to face meeting with 2-3 presentations starting around 7PM and later on move to a pub for drinks. Join our community on Meetup.com to be kept in the loop about our next events! Or you can socialize with our members on Facebook, Twitter and Google+. Beginnings
BJUG took shape in order to create a strong community for all the developers in Bucharest that are us

ing Java or any other JVM based programing language. The two other founding mebers are Ioan Eugen Stan and Mihai Soloi. The first meeting took place in May 2012 at the Ceata Foundation with approximately 25 participants. Since then, the group slowly but surely started to grow. Meetings
BJUG is organizing monthly meetings with technical talks based on the Java ecosystem. Usually, after the meeting, the participants go out for a drink or two nearby. Checkout the BJUG Meetup page to see when then next meeting is scheduled! If you'd like to sponsor one of our meetings, please contact us at [email protected] or by getting in touch with one of our organisers. If you're looking for the old BJUG website, you can still find it at https://old.bjug.ro.
