Daca vrei sa afli mai multe despre povestea unui startup tech, recomand sa cauti interviul lor pe start-up.ro. Mi-a facut placere sa povestesc cu Oana Cosman despre ideea noastra si cm am rafinat-o in echipa si prin interviuri pana am gasit esenta: SalesOMMO automatizeaza activitatea de cercetare si documentare despre firmele si persoanele pe care urmeaza sa le intalneasca oamenii de vanzari, pentru a se pregati mai bine si a anticipa ce le poate fi util clientilor, precum si sa califice mai bine proiectele in care sa investeasca.

Am mai povestit si despre tipologiile primilor clienti care au inceput sa testeze produsul: multi dintre ei sunt companii tech care isi doresc sa creasca in mod accelerat, la nivel global si au multe intalniri cu persoane pe care nu le-au cunoscut inainte, din segmente de piata diferite si diverse tari. Problema cea mai mare este lipsa timpului necesar pentru a se pregati pentru toate intalnirile pe care urmeaza sa le aiba, dar si rata de adoptie mica a produselor complexe, relativ greu de utilizat.

"Romanian Startups: Roaring Tigers of Europe" is finally released this week, compressing in two hours tens of interviews with Romanian entrepreneurs. The film is reflecting quite well the development of Romanian tech sector, from early capitalism in the 90's, to the local tech startup ecosystem of the present days, an ecosystem that is finally connected quite well in the regional and global market, fuelled by the first local and regional VCs, many of which have also significant EU funding.

Getting to know the history can be helpful in order to get a better sense of the present, knowing where the main actors are coming from and avoiding shared mistakes of the past, and also getting a lot of inspiration from the success stories. Plenty of these in the film, as well as a lot of energy and inspiration!

Congratulations to Oana Cosman, Florin Casota and Vlad Andriescu from start-up.ro for making it happen, and a big thank you for all your work and the tremendous effort done, you should be proud for what you did and for setting the bar at such a high level - looking forward also for interesting follow ups as the ecosystem is developing at faster pace these days.
