🚀 The Bit Sentinel team is proud to participate in this year’s Cyber Europe exercise organized by Union Agency for Cybersecurity.

Cyber Europe is a large-scale pan-European cybersecurity exercise designed to test and strengthen how organizations and institutions across Europe prevent, detect, and respond to major cyber incidents and cyber crises. This year’s edition focuses on transport infrastructure, with particular attention to the rail and maritime sectors.

The mission of the exercise is clear: improve collaboration, preparedness, and resilience against increasingly complex cyber threats targeting critical infrastructure.

At Bit Sentinel, we believe continuous learning and hands-on experience are essential in cybersecurity. Participating in exercises like Cyber Europe helps our team sharpen technical and operational skills, collaborate with experts across Europe, and stay prepared for the evolving threat landscape.

This initiative is part of our broader contribution within the consortium coordinated by certSIGN, together with CybrOps, delivering ENISA-backed NIS2 cybersecurity services to support the resilience of critical infrastructure organizations.

📢 On 26 May 2026, Bit Sentinel attended the final management meeting of ECYBRIDGE - Strengthening Synergies in Defence and Civilian Cybersecurity - held in Constanța, hosted by Constanta Maritime University through MARITIME CYBERSECURITY CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE 👉 https://bit-sentinel.com/ecybridge-2026-how-bit-sentinel-helped-bridge-eu-civil-defence-cybersecurity-by-harnessing-dual-use-tech/

This marked the official close of a 24-month EU-funded initiative that brought together 17 partner organizations across four Member States.

🔎 ECYBRIDGE, funded by the European Commission, set out to fix a structural problem in European . Europe does not lack institutions or frameworks. What it lacks is operational connectivity between civilian and defence actors when complex cyber incidents hit. ECYBRIDGE built that connectivity through shared situational awareness, interoperable procedures, and trusted communication channels.

🤝 Bit Sentinel joined the consortium in 2024 and contributed across tabletop exercises, workshops on cyber warfare, and international conferences that aligned policymakers, industry leaders, and researchers on EU cybersecurity resilience. CyberEDU.ro, our advanced cyber range platform, provided the technical infrastructure to test dual-use technologies and allowed European civil-defence forces to train in realistic, high-stakes environments.

👉 The final meeting produced one clear conclusion: effective civil-defence cybersecurity cooperation does not require institutional merger. It requires structured processes, interoperable procedures, shared situational awareness, and, above all, trust between actors who must coordinate rapidly under pressure.

⏹️ The project formally concludes. The work it enabled does not. The partnerships, frameworks, and policy recommendations that ECYBRIDGE produced represent a foundation for a more strategically coordinated European cybersecurity ecosystem, one that Bit Sentinel remains committed to supporting.

🔎 CyberMAN 2026 s-a desfășurat în perioada 11-15 mai și a reunit peste 200 de participanți din mediul militar, academic și privat într-un exercițiu tehnic complex dedicat apărării cibernetice, organizat de Comandamentul Apărării Cibernetice.

🏆 Echipa noastră a ocupat locul 1 în cele două scenarii competitive destinate specialiștilor și profesioniștilor în , din totalul de patru scenarii ale exercițiului.

În spatele acestui rezultat se află cinci oameni care dovedesc zi de zi că la Bit Sentinel creștem prin învățare continuă și dorința sinceră de a ne depăși constant:

🏆 Avem componența Team Romania, lotul național care va reprezenta țara la Campionatul European de Securitate Cibernetică ( ) din Germania, în perioada 12-16 octombrie.

Susținem cu mândrie această performanță și noua generație de specialiști, deoarece credem că viitorul în se construiește prin educație continuă.

🤩 În perioada 27-29 mai, 35 de tineri selectați în urma Olimpiadei Naționale de Securitate Cibernetică - și a finalei Campionatului Național de Securitate Cibernetică intră într-un program intensiv de pregătire și competiție.

🏆 La final, vom ști cine formează , care va reprezenta țara la Campionatul European de Securitate Cibernetică - (12-16 octombrie, Germania).

Miza e mare, iar provocările din aceste zile sunt pe măsură.
