Starchaser is a Romanian based start-up company specialised in web-based applications and data analysis.
Currently, the company is working with clients from the United States and Australia to improve their business decisions through data collection and analysis. As part of our big data division, the company is creating a new team of developers specialised in creating custom based data analysis applications.
Job Description
• Responsibilities
o You will be coordinating directly with our overseas partners
o Deadlines need to be strictly observed
o Quality of deliverables has to conform to the highest standards
• Qualifications
o Formal qualifications are not required however you should have a minimum of three years experience developing with database and analytics technologies
• Other Requirements
o Basic knowledge of Elasticsearch
o Basic knowledge of Python
o Fluent in English
• Big pluses
o Knowledge of machine learning approaches or high-level statistics
o Clean code approaches
o Fast learner and willing to improve their skills
o Basic knowledge of Unix systems (Linux / MacOS)
