For the collaboration between Swissôtel Poiana Brașov and Massif Festival, Menthol.ro shaped the communication concept, visual direction, and creative assets that framed the partnership throughout the festival.

The challenge was simple and strategic: translate the energy of one of the region’s most dynamic winter festivals into a brand presence that reflects the elegance and clarity of the Swissôtel identity. Music, mountains, and alpine hospitality came together through a cohesive visual language designed to live naturally across the festival environment.

From concept to ex*****on, the collaboration became a meeting point between festival culture and premium hospitality, expressed through design, communication, and atmosphere.

What if winter became your strongest branding asset?

With Swissmas Magic 2, we built a seasonal brand experience that blends Alpine culture, design, and storytelling into a powerful destination driver for Swissôtel Poiana Brașov.

8 years ago, we reintroduced a legacy to the world.

Eight years since we unveiled the rebranding of Teracota Medias for the very first time, in Verona, at an international design fair. A moment that marked the rebirth of one of Transylvania’s most valuable artisanal brands and its return to the contemporary cultural scene.

Founded in 1906, Teracota Mediaș is the last remaining manufacturer of hand painted ceramic stoves in Transylvania, a true guardian of craftsmanship, heritage, and traditional know how. The rebranding project was built around a clear mission: to honor over a century of history while giving the brand a strong, relevant voice for today.

Our role: Brand Strategy & Design
Our goal: to bridge centuries of artisanal tradition with contemporary relevance, positioning Teracota not only as a producer, but as a cultural landmark and ambassador of Romanian heritage.

From Mediaș to Verona and beyond, this project remains a reminder that meaningful branding starts with deep respect for roots and ends with a clear vision for the future.

What does a destination brand built for the future look like?
It starts with the identity of the place, grows through the community, and becomes a coherent experience: easy to recognize and meaningful to live.

The ecotourism destination brand Biertan – Richiș – Copșa Mare has officially launched, a project developed by Menthol Branding in collaboration with the Municipality of Biertan, following an extensive strategic process carried out together with the local community.

We created a brand that brings together three villages with distinct personalities and translates them into a clear platform for communication, experience, and promotion. UNESCO heritage, cultural landscape, local gastronomy, sustainable agriculture, and contemporary initiatives now work as brand assets, ready to be activated across tourism, local products, events, and digital channels.

For Menthol, this project represents applied strategy: a clear ecotourism positioning, a cohesive visual identity, contemporary language, and a brand system designed to work long-term, directly in the hands of the community.

Biertan – Richiș – Copșa Mare shows how destination branding drives healthy growth, differentiation, and relevance in an increasingly competitive tourism landscape.

Brand: Transylvanian Tiny Barns

Poziționare:Transylvanian Tiny Barns se poziționează ca un exemplu de cultivare a frumosului și a valorilor locale în Țara Colibelor – un model de dezvoltare rurală sustenabilă prin arhitectură tradițională reinterpretată, meșteșuguri și gastronomie locală. Prin proiecte precum tiny-house-uri construite cu materiale locale și tapete din fân, brandul oferă o experiență contemporană a traiului simplu, dar autentic, specific Mărginimii Sibiului.

Context: În comuna Râul Sadului, cea mai mică din județul Sibiu, Transylvanian Tiny Barns devine o inițiativă-far în regenerarea comunității prin valorificarea patrimoniului material și imaterial. Aici, într-un peisaj de poveste, localnicii, arhitecți și meșteșugari redescoperă lemnul, lâna, fânul și rețetele tradiționale într-o formulă sustenabilă și inovatoare, cu sprijinul administrației locale și al Asociației My Transylvania. Tiny house-urile devin ateliere vii, spații de locuire și inspirație pentru un stil de viață slow și conectat cu natura.

Poziționare: Viscri 32 - White Barn and Blue House se poziționează ca o poveste unică de revitalizare a tradițiilor și stilului de viață rural din Transilvania. Aici preparatele din ingrediente locale de la producători mici după rețete vechi, sunt gătite cu răbdare după principiile Slow Food.

Context: Viscri 32 se află în satul Viscri, un loc cunoscut pentru frumusețea și autenticitatea sa, protejat de UNESCO pentru valoarea sa culturală. Aici, la numărul 32, veți găsi o casă tradițională săsească, restaurată cu materiale și tehnici locale, devenind o destinație emblematică pentru cei care doresc să experimenteze viața rurală transilvăneană. Casa este înconjurată de peisaje pitorești și o comunitate activă care păstrează vii tradițiile și obiceiurile locale.

Context: Într-o lume în care turismul internațional și național este în continuă expansiune, există o tendință crescândă către eco-turism și destinații de glamping. Oamenii moderni caută experiențe unice și autentice, care să ofere o evadare din cotidian și o reconectare cu natura.

Context: Red Bull Art of Can sunt o serie de instalații, piese de artă, precum și fotografii ale unor lucrări făcute din doze Red Bull. Red Bull Art Of Can a fost inițiat în 1999 iar în anul 2011 a fost rândul Bucureștiului să găzduiască prima ediție din România a proiectului.
