Sometimes an existing module with some changes can be enough for a proof of concept. In that case an existing phase shift full bridge converter was used to a double channel, 2-switch flyback.

For that, in the place of the main transformer was assembled a small prototype board with the 2 flyback transformers, the secondary rectification and also the discharge resistors to, besides the high voltage capacitors discharge also quickly adjust the output voltages.

That was enough to validate it before proceeding with the new PCB design.

With the 3D modelling it is possible to assemble a virtual prototype to detect mechanical constraints and help with the system integration during the design stage.
