Your way in for the Azure Dev Summit in Lisbon! See you tomorrow!

At Azure Dev Summit, Seth Juarez will guide you through a full-day workshop on how to actually build into your software, step by step.

You’ll start with the basics, like writing effective prompts, and move toward building full applications that make decisions, adapt, and run in the background. Along the way, you’ll learn how to evaluate AI output, deploy your app, and monitor how it performs in production.

We’ll wrap things up with a practical take on , how to handle real-world complexity, create feedback loops, and make sure your system improves over time.

If you’re building software and want to use AI in a meaningful, scalable way, this workshop is for you.

Damian is an Architect on the .NET team at Microsoft, and a driving force behind the core ASP.NET runtime. If you’ve worked with Web Forms, SignalR, or even dabbled in jQuery plugins back in the day, you’ve probably seen his fingerprints on your codebase.

At the summit, Damian is going all in on Aspire and high-performance .NET.

He’ll take you behind the scenes of Razor Slices, a native AOT Razor library built for speed and modularity. If you’re curious how to make Razor apps faster and cleaner, this is your session.

Then, he’s diving deep into .NET Aspire itself. You’ll learn what makes it tick and how it simplifies cloud-native .NET app development.

And for something completely different: don’t miss the live edition of AspiriFridays. Damian, along with David Fowler and Maddy Montaquila, will take a real-world app and “aspireify” it, live on stage. If you’ve ever watched their stream, you know it’s as entertaining as it is insightful. And this time, the app might just be one you recognize.

For those looking to level up even further, Damian’s also leading a full-day workshop on Advanced Aspire and Azure. Bring your questions, your curiosity, and your cloud challenges.

It’s going to be packed, practical, and very .NET. Just the way we like it.

Marlene is a Senior Developer Advocate at Microsoft, focused on Python and AI. She’s also a computer scientist, an international keynote speaker, and a true builder of communities. She currently chairs the ACM Practitioner Board, previously served as vice chair of the Python Software Foundation, and was the driving force behind the very first PyCon Africa.

At Azure Dev Summit, Marlene will introduce you to the next evolution of AI applications, Ambient Agents.

Most AI apps today rely on a simple chat interface. It’s familiar, but limited. In her talk, Marlene will show how we can move beyond this model by combining Azure AI Foundry with LangChain’s LangGraph framework to build agents that work in the background, respond to context, and only step in when it really matters.

This is about using AI not just as a chatbot, but as a true partner—one that scales with us, adapts to our environment, and helps us focus on what matters most.

If you’re building GenAI apps or just starting to explore what’s possible with autonomous agents, this is a session you’ll want to catch.
