🦄 We’ve been accepted into Unicorn Factory Lisboa’s Incubation Programme!

A year-long programme that combines mentoring, training, and networking, to support founders in the key areas of building a startup: product, fundraising, growth, and international expansion.

A few things that stood out about our Winter Batch ‘26 cohort:

One year ago, these two won a £350k Innovate UK Smart Grant to build a platform that helps small and medium sized charities find new donors.

The judges found our application to be ‘bold but credible’.

Only 2% of applications were funded.

We had no idea what we were getting ourselves into.

One year on the grant has come to an end - we have launched the platform, raised investment and have a growing community of charities signing up to .ai

We’re still learning, iterating and improving every day.

The Smart Grant scheme is currently on hold due to high numbers of applications and declining success rates.

We’re grateful that we made it through and had government support to bring our idea into reality.

Funding innovation is key for the future.

Now’s the time to back ideas that tackle real-world problems.

We can’t let the digital divide become so big that the majority are left behind.
