Ok, no, this is not a mistake. Our account hasn’t been hacked. 🍺 That’s André Ribeiro from Neuraspace enjoying a well-earned b**r after presenting his paper at IAC2026 in Turkey last week. Now that I have your attention, let me tell you what he and Marta Guimarães brought to the 77th International Astronautical Congress.
🛰️ In the first days of a satellite’s life, the battery is limited and the data is scarce, yet the team on the ground still needs to know exactly where it is. André presented a method that keeps that knowledge reliable with just a handful of GNSS measurements per orbit.
🤖 Marta took on a different question: what happens when the catalogues we all rely on don’t agree on what an object in orbit actually is? Her work reconciles those discrepancies and uses machine learning to infer the object type when the information is missing or conflicting.
Two different problems, one shared goal: safer and more reliable space operations. Thank you, André and Marta, for representing Neuraspace so well.
