Hi, I have been quiet on here and need assistance to post this but I wanted to touch base. As many of you heard already, I fell with my bycicle in a small dirt road 8 weeks ago and injured my spine. This has left me paralysed from the chest down after heavy surgery and long weeks at the ICU in Faro. My arms somewhat work but my hands and fingers are very limited, but I’m hopeful that they will improve with intense physio. I am currently waiting for a place in a rehabilitation centre where I will be spending long months I am told. My wife Louise and my two boys are an incredible support to me and I am so humbled and grateful for all the kindness I receive. I often have tears in my eyes thinking about all this generosity and care I get. My friend Sarah at has set up a Go Fund Me page to help us with medical and anything that is necessary for my recovery and I am beyond grateful for all your donations.
