If I ever had to choose the most beautiful wheels I’ve built, these would be in the top three, possibly even my number one.

The blue Raketa hubs are more than just hubs. They are jewelry.

⚡ Ceramic bearings really are something else…
Very recently, I had the chance to build a wheelset with Hyper Ceramic bearings paired with Extralite hubs — and honestly, I was shocked by how low the rolling resistance feels.

A light touch… and the wheels keep spinning endlessly.

This custom build features:

✅ Duke Baccara X 56mm rims
✅ 23mm internal width
✅ Extralite SPC3+ hubs

When I was starting the carbon spokes project a few years back, I had many thoughts and concerns. It is not that easy to create a product that would address the market’s specific needs. The cycling business is pretty packed already and most of us can find existing solutions for their needs. However, I always believed in carbon spokes innovation. They have unique attributes that change the way how the wheels ride.

CarbonOne wheels are not for everybody. I’d never suggest them if you’re an explorer or self-supported rider going on ultra adventures far from civilization. However, if you’re a roadie or quick gravel rider, then those would fit you like a glove. They are light, fast, and noticeably different from steel-spoked wheels. Higher comfort, less harsh ride, and high stiffness. On top, there are options for customization, like this project:
- Silver CarbonTi hubs
- Black carbon spokes plus one red spoke.
- Road 50mm rims, clincher hooked with 22mm inner width
- Total weight 1300g (600g front and 700g rear)

This project found its place in the market. Many people are riding CarbonOne wheels and I’m very pleased with the feedback and the result. Soon, few independent reviews on BlackcatWheels and the CarbonOne blog.

CarbonOne.pl site goes live today.

Finally, carbon spoked wheels can be purchased online and we ship worldwide. Ton of work behind, but it was worth it.
Results are self-explanatory: 1180g for road 30mm, 1250g for road 40mm and 1320g for road 50mm. Gravel set with 39mm rims shows 1270g on scale. All that with amazing lateral stiffness and high comfort thanks to innovative Carbon-Kevlar spokes.

Looking forward for first builds and reviews. Most of the first builds and feedback will be shared on CarbonOne.pl blog ✌️
