📰 In the latest interview for My Company Polska, CEO of COGITA AI and our member Adam Gabriel Dobrakowski shares practical insights from supporting analytics and hashtag , to why many -generated applications collapse the moment they hit production scale.

As Adam Gabriel Dobrakowski highlights in the interview:
💬 “AI agents are excellent at detecting narrow bugs and vulnerabilities, but they still struggle with deep architectural redesign. This stems from the nature of these models themselves. (...) Moreover, if we use the same AI model to search for errors that originally generated the code, there is a high probability it will not notice them at all – because it will reinforce its own flawed reasoning.”

💬 At the same time, he notes that AI is dramatically lowering the barrier to :
“What once required months of development work and budgets of €200-300K to build an MVP can now be achieved by a technical team in just a few days with the support of AI tools, significantly reducing the initial entry threshold for startups and founders. Two years ago companies were still debating copyright issues around AI-generated code – which, by the way, remains unresolved in some ways. Today nobody questions it anymore: if a senior developer doesn’t use AI, they will simply fall out of the market.”

Big thanks to Wiktor Cyrny for a substantive and well-conducted conversation.

Proud to hear AI Chamber mentioned at the GLOBSEC Forum 2026 in Prague and to see the importance of our work for the region being recognized during the timely discussion on “CEE: New Growth Engine in Europe.”

Eva Maydell (Paunova)) made a compelling case for deeper regional cooperation and for ensuring that CEE speaks with a stronger, more united voice in Brussels so that our region’s priorities are reflected in EU policy and strategic initiatives. It’s a mission we deeply share. CEE has the talent, ambition, and potential to play a defining role in Europe’s AI future. What we need now is stronger collaboration across the region and a shared commitment to elevating our innovators, startups, and SMEs.

At AI Chamber CEE, that’s exactly what we’re building - connecting the regional AI ecosystem, supporting innovation-friendly policies, and amplifying the voices of CEE founders and innovators at both the national and EU levels.

Thank you, Eva Maydell (Paunova), for the mention and for championing a stronger, unified CEE perspective in Europe.

📰 dlahandlu.pl has just highlighted a challenge many companies still face: for too many organizations, “AI implementation” ends with purchasing access to – without real transformation of processes, structured , or organizational readiness.

💭 In the article, our member of shares an important perspective on what really determines whether creates business value or operational risk. As dr Klaudia Martinek-Jaguszewska, CEO and AI & Automation Team Leader at CogniBe says:

“The quality of product data and an organized sales process directly translate into the effectiveness of tasks performed by AI models. Where rule-based automation can be applied, we can be certain that the process will be executed correctly and consistently every time.”

💭 She also highlights a strategic issue many organizations still struggle with:

“We see two main problems: testing solutions without a clearly defined goal and isolated implementations across different departments without coordination and synergy. Often, technologies are implemented by individual enthusiasts who are excellent change agents but lack experience in scaling such initiatives organizationally and technically.”

Last week, AI Chamber participated in the BRIDGE Inaugural Symposium in Łódź - two days of discussions on the future of European data and AI governance.

Our Public Policy Director, Marcin Olender, joined panel on “The AI Act in Practice,” bringing the perspective of CEE SMEs and innovators to the debate.

Key takeaways:
💡 Europe needs stronger readiness and implementation capacity around the AI Act.
💡 Regulation should support innovation, not slow it down.
💡 New technologies must be seen as an opportunity, not only as a risk.

A striking point raised during the discussions: the EU’s main digital legislation now contains more than 1,000 obligations for companies.

Thank you to panelists for such an inspiring and frank exchange: Prof. Dr. Patrick Glauner, Dr. Till Klein, Sophie Sohm, Damian Flisak, Filip Konopczyński

And of course a special thanks to our fabulous moderator and spiritus movens of the whole symposium, dr hab. Dominik Lubasz, prof. UŁ, and the co-chair, Boris P**l, for bringing together the University of Łódź and the Technical University of Munich and a fantastic array of guests for this invaluable initiative.

Looking forward to carrying this diagnosis into the Solutions Phase in Munich this October!

Another political cliffhanger in Brussels ended with a sigh of relief from the European AI ecosystem. In the early hours of this morning, an agreement was finally reached on the Digital Omnibus on AI. It is a welcome positive step, mostly because we were staring down a ticking clock. Without this deal, the looming August 2nd deadline for high-risk AI systems was creating growing uncertainty and would have ended in legal chaos for businesses across the continent.

Here’s are the most important changes that were agreed:

➖ Fixed deadlines for high-risk AI: We finally have a clear implementation timeline for high-risk AI systems rather than conditionality. The rules for Annex III systems are pushed to December 2, 2027, and Annex I systems to August 2, 2028.
➖ Cutting the red tape: The agreement moves toward much better clarity where the AI Act overlaps with existing sector-specific laws. It also sharpens the definition of when an AI system is considered a "safety component" of a product.
➖ Support for mid-caps: Some measures originally reserved for SMEs are being extended to "small mid-cap" enterprises, recognizing that they also face significant compliance burdens.
➖ Easier registration: For certain high-risk systems that don't actually meet the high-risk criteria in practice, the registration process has been simplified.
➖ Wins for the machinery industry: Certain AI-powered machinery requirements have been eased by moving them from Part A to Part B of Annex I.

Although this does not solve the main issues plaguing the ecosystem, it is still a significant and symbolic win for the pro-innovation camp in Europe.

While it always takes a village, special recognition goes out to the CEE AI Ambassador, Jan Kavalirek, who spearheaded the ‘stop-the-clock’ initiative, and the governments of Czechia, which led the way on the AI Act in the Council last year, and Poland, which kicked off the simplification process during their Presidency. This time around. Germany also stepped in at a very last minute following calls from the industry to secure simpler rules for the machinery sector.

We hope governments now become more vocal in the ongoing Digital Omnibus negotiations, listen to businesses, and help create a more workable framework for AI development in Europe - one that delivers legal certainty and strengthens the competitiveness of European companies.

Rzeczpospolita and Parkiet have just published this year’s ranking of firms. Technology - especially - is no longer an add-on to audit. It is fundamentally reshaping the profession. AI is enabling auditors to analyze entire data populations instead of samples, while automating routine tasks like reconciliations and document matching. This shift allows professionals to focus more on risk analysis, judgment, and client interaction, while also paving the way for continuous, 24/7 auditing and more scalable, cost-efficient operations.

As Marcin Radecki, CEO of Loud Data and our member, highlights in the article:

“Accounting is no longer about tedious, manual review of documents and tables. Artificial intelligence and analytics have revolutionized how we look at finance. (…) With AI, we can accurately predict the future. And the winners will be those for whom well-structured data is the greatest asset.”

📰 Today Puls Biznesu published the results of the PFR Ventures and Inovo report “Transactions on the Polish VC Market Q1 2026”.

📈 The Polish market in Q1 2026 is characterized by stagnation in growth rounds and a clear dominance of -stage investments, with 46 transactions totaling PLN 308 million and no large rounds, highlighting a persistent capital gap at later stages of development. This strong concentration on early-stage startups has driven the average deal size down to PLN 6.9 million from PLN 12.8 million a year earlier, with activity focused on 35 seed rounds, 8 Series A rounds, and just 2 Series B rounds, while no growth-stage rounds were recorded. At the same time, public institutions such as PFR continue to play a significant role in financing.

💭 As Bartosz Fiałek, founder of and our member, noted in the article:
“Data for Q1 shows a market that hasn’t frozen but has become clearly more selective. We see activity at the pre-seed and seed stages, while the lack of growth, C, and D rounds – apart from the ElevenLabs megadeal – highlights the biggest gap in the Polish ecosystem: we are good at launching projects but still struggle to finance their scaling.”
