👻 Ghost Engineers: A Productivity Problem or a Misunderstood Phenomenon?

A recent study from Stanford University found that nearly 10% of software engineers do almost no work, earning them the nickname ‘ghost engineers.’ At the same time, many developers are overworked, with 23% working overtime for 10+ days a month, raising questions about burnout and accountability in tech.
