The final moments of yesterday’s Women in Tech conference may be behind us, but the questions raised there are still lingering. This year’s edition opened space for a different kind of dialogue – one that allowed for nuance and reflection. AI was a key focus, though not framed purely through speed or scale. Instead, conversations centered on trust, responsibility, and the everyday decisions that shape how technology becomes part of our lives. Again and again, the idea surfaced that progress also means knowing when to pause – and keeping people at the heart of it all.
What stood out in particular was the emphasis on empathy, safety, and the long‑term consequences of choices made within the tech industry. A female perspective added valuable context, naturally broadening and deepening the discussion around technological development. Safety appeared across sessions not as a separate concern, but as a foundational element in thinking about AI’s future. The event’s calm, thoughtful tone created space for insights that extend well beyond the conference itself.
Thank you to Women In Tech Sweden for the excellent organization and for making this meaningful gathering possible 💜 We’re leaving Stockholm with reflections that will stay with us – and continue to shape how we approach technology and responsibility moving forward.
