🛑 Office Closed Alert – June Public Holiday! 🇵🇱🌞


Heads up, Team!

Mark your calendars (and maybe hide your laptops) because our office will be closed on Thursday, June 19th, 2025 for the Feast of Corpus Christi (Boże Ciało). That means no meetings, no emails, no awkward Teams calls where someone forgets they’re not on mute. 🎉



🧐 What’s this holiday about, anyway?

Corpus Christi is a Catholic celebration that dates back to the 13th century. It’s a public holiday in Poland and several other countries, honoring the belief in the real presence of the body and blood of Christ in the Eucharist. Traditionally, towns and villages across Poland host colorful processions with flower carpets, singing choirs, and kids dressed like tiny angels. Basically, it’s a big deal—with significantly more incense and less email.



👀 Fun fact: The date of Corpus Christi changes every year because it’s tied to Easter (it always lands on the Thursday after Trinity Sunday). In 2025, it conveniently opens the door to a long weekend. You didn’t hear this from us, but Friday, June 20th might be worth a strategic vacation day. Just saying. 😉



So enjoy the break, recharge, and try not to dream about spreadsheets.

Colleagues will have the chance to swap, share, or adopt plants while exchanging care tips and growing their office greenery. No plant? No problem! All colleagues are welcome to join the fun.

And of course, no celebration is complete without something sweet—our Spring Cake Contest will showcase the team’s baking creativity, with fantastic prizes up for grabs! 🎂🏆

We're collecting new socks for those experiencing homelessness, and we need your help.

Socks are one of the most requested but least donated items, and your contribution can make a significant difference.

The last day to drop off socks is Thursday, December 18th.

Dear Team,

I hope you are all doing well. As you may be aware, the recent floods have caused significant damage and disruption in southern part of Poland. In response, the mayor of Śródmieście, Aleksander Ferens, has encouraged everyone to come together and support those affected. He emphasized that "the natural instinct is solidarity and help in difficult times."

We are organizing a collection of essential items to aid the flood victims. The following items are urgently needed:

• Bottled drinking water
• Cleaning products
• Dry food

You can hand over the items to the district office at Nowogrodzka 43 or place them in the kitchen by Thursday.

For those who prefer, items can also be delivered to the warehouse of the "Filters" Water Treatment Station, accessible through the gate from ul. Raszyńska. The station is open non-stop.

Your generosity and support during this challenging time are greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help.

EG Family Day is the time when we can repay our loved ones and the families that support us every day.

The day was full of fun thanks to our friends from Zdolna bestia and iZone Training Centre.

Zdolna Bestia again helped us create some magical Xmas workshops where we had a lot of fun with children and friends.
IZONE Training Centre gave us important tips of how to behave in emergency situations.

2023 was very busy but also very successful thanks to you! We wish New Year 2024 to be full of adventures, successes and positive energy!
