27% of employees in Poland worked during their last holiday. According to LiveCareer's 2025 survey, the top reason wasn't unfinished work. It was a sense of responsibility (52%) and the assumption that managers expect them to stay reachable (24%).

If you're the one managing the team, that assumption starts with you. Nearly half of employees in Poland report feeling burned out, and the people who feel it hardest are often the ones who never fully step away, convinced the whole thing falls apart without them.

But we were in the same room, how can you see it completely differently? 🤯

Sounds familiar? This is one of the biggest traps we fall into when giving feedback. We assume that because we witnessed the same event, our interpretation is the only right one.

In the latest video from the Let’s Talk About IT, Agata Gajcy reminds us what do we forget most often.

🔹 Facts over opinions. Feedback is no place for assumptions, personal interpretations, or quoting "what others think." The only thing that matters is what specifically happened.
🔹 You don’t know the full context. Even if you witnessed the situation firsthand, the other person might have been acting based on information you have absolutely no clue about.
🔹 Dialogue over monologue. Dumping your thoughts and wrapping up with a quick "Okay, got it?" isn't feedback, it's a lecture. True value comes when you ask the other person how they feel and let them share their perspective.

Great feedback is meant to build up and develop, which requires a peer-to-peer conversation, not a one-way broadcast.
