PODPUNKT won its 15th European Design Award medal in its 15th anniversary year 🙂

We are very happy, especially because this recognition comes from an educational campaign created for the Polish public administration. It’s the kind of work that matters to others.

Thank you to the police officers who supported this project — we cannot name them individually, but we are grateful for their time and guidance.

𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓 𝐒𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐃: “𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐬”

In collaboration with the Polish Ministry of the Interior and Administration (MSWiA) and police officers who deal with drug-related issues every day, we produced two animated spots.
The educational campaign was developed to raise awareness among parents about the risks and early indicators of drug use, as well as the ease of access in the digital age. We are grateful for their invaluable expert input, which was essential in shaping both the strategic direction and the educational integrity of the campaign.

𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐠𝐞
The black-and-white illustration acts as a visual alarm—it strengthens the message without overwhelming viewers with excessive visual stimuli and helps convey the seriousness of the topic. We developed the titles and scripts for two spots: one focuses on the ease with which young people can access drugs, while the other highlights behaviors that may alert adults that a person is struggling with addiction. We also created an illustrated character that allows parents to see the world of a child struggling with addiction from a new perspective.

𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓 𝐒𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐃 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐬
"Warning signs" video helps caregivers recognize early indicators of drug use in young people. The video highlights changes in behavior, social life, routines, and appearance. The film is designed to make it easier for parents and to respond quickly and support their children.

👉 "Resist" design has been shortlisted for the

A scientific conference Resist held in July 2025 in Paris. It was organised jointly by the Society for French Historical Studies, the Western Society for French History, and The Society for the Study of French History, in collaboration with the Association for the Study of Modern & Contemporary France, the George Rudé Society, and H-France.

Bringing together historiographical approaches from cultural, social, and political history—spanning the ancient, medieval, modern, and contemporary worlds—this international gathering sought to shape resistance as a new object of historical inquiry. It explored how different eras, places, and cultures have defined, experienced, and theorised what it means to resist.

Design
The visual identity created for RESIST reflects this intellectual ambition through a raw, bold, black-and-white aesthetic. Its visual language draws inspiration from brutalist urban posters, flyers, and stickers traditionally used by underground movements to express dissent.

Like handmade protest banners, the identity is grounded in assertive typography. The conference logo symbolically captures the essence of resistance—expressing the force of claiming space, asserting presence, and refusing erasure.

We are celebrating the 4th anniversary of the introduction of the new Warsaw brand and the brands of all its 18 districts.

One of the most important changes was unifying the brand identity of all districts, which previously each used their own separate visual system. This brought greater order to the city, enabled clearer communication with residents, and increased the security and trustworthiness of that communication.

Cities are different and have different needs. We hope that one day, perhaps during a future event, there will be an opportunity to talk about this.

As a female team, we also had the pleasure of finding our own female heroine — Maria Curie-Skłodowska. We traced her profile. We cut the mermaid’s hair — thanks to this, our Warsaw mermaid is a brave and dynamic girl 🙂
