Shipping a t-shirt is easy. Shipping (and assembling!) a custom-built wardrobe across Europe, that's where logistics managers start losing sleep. 😶

When tylko custom furniture sales exploded across Western Europe, standard couriers simply couldn't handle the job. They needed specialized teams who could manage heavy in-home deliveries and complex assembly.

Zaczynamy drugi i zarazem ostatni dzień PIKE 2026 w Sopocie. Zanim jednak wróciliśmy do rozmów o nowych regulacjach, AI i przyszłości telekomunikacji, o 7:30 część uczestników zamieniła garnitury na buty do biegania.

Reprezentujący nas Krzysztof Dąbkowski zameldował się na starcie porannego biegu operatorów nad Bałtykiem. Widok na sopockie molo i świetna energia to świetny dowód na to, że najlepsze rozmowy nie zawsze dzieją się przy stole! 💙

Po tak aktywnej rozgrzewce, Krzysztof jest już z powrotem w hotelu Sheraton, gotowy na kolejne panele i networking.

Still managing your complex fiber-optic network with a messy combo of Excel spreadsheets and Visio diagrams? 📉 Coordinating modern telecom infrastructure is complicated enough without having to constantly cross-reference generic tools.

Building a complex IT system and running a marathon have a thing in common. If your handovers are messy, you’re not going to cross the finish line! 😉

This past Saturday, our running team, the GlobRunners, participated in the Onet Maraton Sztafet. They took on the Ekiden. It's a Japanese relay formula that turns an individual struggle into a synchronized team victory.

Instead of one person suffering through 42 kilometers, our 6-person squad divided:

👟 1 runner set the pace with 7.195 km

👟 2 runners crushed the 10 km stretches

👟 3 runners brought it home with 5 km sprints!

This way, Julka, Paweł, Tomek S., Tomek M., Krzysiek, and Marek completed a full marathon. 🏃‍♂️‍➡️

Just like in software development, breaking a massive, daunting challenge into manageable sprints is the hack for actually getting it done!
