The BBL is a mains or POE powered module with battery backup that manages 5 temperature sensors and 2 relative humidity sensors. Measurements are transmitted to the server via TCP/IP protocol, utilizing both wired and wireless network connections. In the event of a server connection failure, measurements are stored locally and sent once connectivity is restored.

Technologies employed: RTOS, Ethernet, WLAN, TCP/IP.
