Lately we gathered at the Next! office for intensive Alice 2.1 training. We're preparing to update your installations so you'll soon be able to experience the latest features and improvements firsthand.

Here's a preview of what's coming in Alice 2.1:

✅ Changed method for downloading pre-alarms

✅ A new event type and a summary, including information on:

🚀 Take a look at what's coming in Alice 2.2: Native Ajax Cloud Integration

We're excited to introduce another major enhancement arriving in Alice 2.2 - native integration with Ajax Cloud.

Thanks to the new AjaxPro driver, Alice can communicate directly with Ajax alarm systems without the need for an Ajax Translator, making deployments simpler and more efficient.

The new integration provides access to a wide range of valuable information, including:
🔹 Alarm and event notifications
🔹 Battery level status
🔹 Temperature readings
🔹 Device health and diagnostic information
🔹 Downloading images from PIR cameras to Alice
🔹 And much more.

By eliminating additional hardware requirements while expanding the amount of operational data available to monitoring centers, Alice helps security companies streamline their infrastructure and improve service quality.

Last Friday we spent a bit differently than usual. After a very intense six months full of challenges, projects, and hard work, we decided to do something for ourselves and went as a whole team for a small integration outing.

This time we chose to try our hand at archery competition at LUPUS SILVA Archery club. It was a great opportunity to learn the basics of using a bow and test our accuracy.

Interestingly, archery is a passion of one of our employees, so we were very happy to get to know a hobby they dedicate their free time to.

It turned out that our team has no shortage of hidden talents! Many people really enjoyed this form of activity, and the healthy competition brought a lot of laughter and positive emotions. You could say that striving for a target is in our nature - and aiming that day went exceptionally well. 🎯

After the sports activities, it was time for a bonfire, conversations, and relaxation. Over delicious food, we were already discussing holiday plans, as summer is quickly approaching.

Moments like these remind us how important not only a shared goal is, but also the people with whom we achieve it every day. 😊

This week, we had the pleasure of visiting Turkey for meetings with our distributor to explore new business opportunities and further strengthen our cooperation.

It was a highly productive visit, filled with insightful discussions, valuable exchanges, and a shared focus on future growth. As part of the trip, we also had the opportunity to present Alice to several end clients, including companies from Turkey’s top 5 security providers. We are pleased to share that several Proof of Concept (POC) installations have already been scheduled, and we are looking forward to demonstrating Alice in real operational environments and taking the next steps in our cooperation.

Beyond the meetings, we also had the chance to experience a bit of the charm of Istanbul’s city center – a truly vibrant place where history and modern life meet. And of course, the food was absolutely delicious.

We’re excited about the opportunities ahead and look forward to continuing this journey together.

Alice 2.1 is coming soon - bringing major improvements focused on video handling and overall system flexibility.

In the upcoming release, we have comprehensively redesigned the video service architecture. Among the key improvements:
• faster connection times to selected camera models,
• improved performance when generating short video clips,
• on-demand video download initiated only during the first playback attempt,
• even greater resilience of Alice against temporary communication issues with cameras.

Alongside the video-related enhancements, Alice 2.1 also introduces several new features designed to increase system flexibility and simplify everyday configuration work. One of them is dynamic signal binding to groups, significantly reducing the time needed to build templates for new devices.

The release of version 2.1 is coming in early summer.

Last week, we shared a short contact poster with all our Alice clients, presenting the people responsible for different areas and types of support.

Ensuring smooth, transparent, and efficient communication is very important to us. We want our clients to always know who to contact - whether it’s about new feature ideas, technical questions, onboarding matters, or everyday software usage.

We hope that clarifying these communication paths will help us respond to our clients’ requests even faster and more effectively, while also avoiding the involvement of unnecessary people in the process.

We had a great time participating in last week’s Alarm.com dealers event in Warsaw - an excellent opportunity to learn more about industry success stories, exchange experiences, and build valuable connections within the security community.

The event took place in the historic Hotel Warszawa building, once the tallest building in pre-war Warsaw, which made the experience even more memorable.

Thank you to EBS and Alarm.com for the invitation and for organizing such an inspiring event. We’re looking forward to future opportunities and continued cooperation.

Alarm.com is already integrated with Alice, enabling our clients to benefit from two feature-rich platforms working together. At the same time, we are continuously working on deepening the integration to provide even more automation and operational possibilities.

With Camect now connected to Alice, users can more easily access and manage video in one place, improving visibility and speeding up incident response.
