Duas for the day of arafah
رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوْلِدَيَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْحِسَابُ
Rabbanagh fir lee wa liwaalidaiya wa lilmu'mineena Yawma yaqoomul hisaab
Translation: Our Rabb, forgive me and my parents and the believers the Day the account is established
رَبَّنَا ءَاتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Rabbana atina fid dunyaa hasanatanw wa fil aakhirati
hasanatanw wa qinaa azaaban Naar
Translation: Our Rabb, give us in this world good and in the Hereafter good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، وَمِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min 'adhabil-qabri, wa min 'adhabi jahannam, wa min fitnatil-mahya wal-mamat, wa min sharri fitnatil-masihid-Dajjal.
Translation: O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave, from the torment of the Fire, from the trials of life and death, and from the evil trial of Al-Masih Ad-Dajjal
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ
Allahumma inni as'aluka al-'afwa wal-'afiyah fid-dune wal-akhirah.
O Allah, I ask You for forgiveness and well-being/protection in this world and the Next.
يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِي عَلَى دِينِكَ
Ya Muqallib al-qulub, thabbit qalbi 'ala dinik. "O Turner of the hearts, keep my heart steadfast upon Your religion."
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ حُسْنَ الْخَاتِمَةِ
Allahumma inni as'aluka husnal khatimah.
"O Allah, I ask You for a beautiful ending (to my life).
اللهمْ إِنَّكَ عَفُو تَحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي
Allahumma innaka 'afuwwun tuhibbul 'afwa fa'fu 'anni.
O Allah, You are Most Forgiving and love forgiveness... so forgive me.
ربِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا
"Rabbi irhamhuma k**a rabbayani sagheera."
O Allah, have mercy on my parents, forgive them, and grant them peace, health, and goodness in this life and the next.
اللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلَالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ وَأَغْنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمِّنْ سِوَاكَ
"Allahummakfini bihalalika 'an haramika wa aghnini bifadlika 'amman siwak."
O Allah, bless my rizq, keep it halal and full of barakah, and ease all my worries.
لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيمٌ
La ilaha ill Allah wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu wa huwa 'ala kulli shay' in qadir.
There is no god but Allah. He is One and has no partner with Him. His is the dominion, and His is the praise, and He is omnipotent over all things.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَمِلْتُ وَمِنْ شَمَرَ مَا لَمْ أَعْمَلْ
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min sharri ma 'amiltu wa min sharri ma lam a'mal.
"O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done and the evil of what I have not done.
