🧾 Steps to Create Home Budget in Excel
1️⃣ Create Table for Expenses
Write headings:
Item | Quantity | Rate | Total
Example:
Dal – 2 – 150
Oil – 5 – 500
2️⃣ Calculate Total of Each Item
In the Total column, use formula:
=Quantity * Rate
Example in Excel:
=C5*D5
Copy the formula for other rows.
3️⃣ Calculate Total Expenses
Use SUM formula:
=SUM(E5:E6)
This will give Total Expenses.
4️⃣ Enter Income
Example:
Father Salary = 4000
Brother Salary = 3000
Total Income formula:
=SUM(E11:E12)
5️⃣ Calculate Balance
Formula:
=Total Income - Total Expenses
Example:
=E13 - E8
Result = Remaining Balance
