For many people, Ramadan is the month of reconnecting with the Qur’an. For me, it has also been a journey of helping bring Qur’anic translations in Saraiki and Punjabi into the digital world so that more people can read and understand them easily.
I am grateful to have contributed to the digitization and preparation of three important Qur’an translations for the Punjabi Quran digital platform.
My work included:
📖 Saraiki Translation — Prof. Dilshad Kalanchvi
A comprehensive translation in the Saraiki Riyasti (Bahawalpuri) dialect, which I fully digitized and prepared for online reading.
📖 Saraiki Translation — M***i Abdul Qadri Saeedi
A translation in the Saraiki dialect of Sadiqabad / Rahim Yar Khan, where I digitized the text and carefully corrected numerous textual and typographical errors.
📖 Punjabi Translation — Maulvi Hadayat-Ullah
Digitized and prepared for inclusion in the platform so that Punjabi readers can easily access it online.
Working with Qur’anic texts requires deep responsibility, accuracy, and respect. I feel honored to have contributed to making these translations available digitally for readers, researchers, and language communities around the world.
🌙 In this blessed month of Ramadan, I hope these efforts help people connect with the message of the Qur’an in their own languages.
