PORTAL CARES
Its heartbreaking to see young lives wasted for reasons hard to understand. Our condolences to the families that lost their beloved children.
The rise of eSports along with digital content through very successful streamers has encouraged kids to invest more of their time into gaming. Game developers are using scientific methods with the help of artificial intelligence and machine learning to hook and capture an active user base to be vested in their ecosystem. Kids today have evolved and adjusted to this digital realm and are using technology to socialize, entertain themselves and emulate their idols who are now gamers and streamers vs athletes and actors. In Pakistan more than other countries there is an additional cultural challenge where the previous generation is not as aware of the influences making this change in our kids.
As an eSports organization we want to send a message to all gamers. Please look after yourselves, for most this will not be more than a recreation. Like any other sport the competition is intense and requires similar effort and sacrifices to get to the top. Its not easy and the there is no clear path at the moment. The risks are huge, and the rewards are not guaranteed. As a professional club we do not want you to destroy your lives to do this. Balance is important. Family, education, social life and health all are more important. Every player we have ever recruited has shown that on top of their abilities they have all of this covered too, otherwise we would encourage them to stop. It is important to have support from your families with a full understanding of what it requires to be a professional gamer. We as humans need all types of interaction and should not limit our selves. It takes a lot to take your own life, we don’t know what triggered such a reaction. Go out of your way to understand and help the people around you. Lets be a supportive community and ensure we do everything to avoid anything like this to ever happen again.

What a tournament! Thank you for hosting such a fantastic event and congratulations to our own Pubg Mobile squad who outlasted 12,000 teams to be crowned DGA Champions!

It is with great pain and difficulty to share the extremely tragic news we have received today. I would like you to join us to pray for our Dear brother Jahanzaib Iqbal who has left this world and by the will of Allah, he has gone to a better place under the protection of The Almighty. Praise to Allah our Lord, our protector we pray for his Maghfarat, protection and sabr for his family that he leaves behind.May Allah the most forgiving, the most just grant him the highest place in Jannah. AMEEN.

We will always remember him. Extremely loving and gentle. Passionate, and always dependable. As far as we knew life had been difficult for him. But he was fighting to pull himself and conquer the hardships. We will miss you our Dear brother and look forward to seeing you on the other side.
