Spread this message so much as so it reaches Imran Khan:
- We voted for PTI, we supported PTI, did a lot for PTI simply because of Khan Saab's credibility. We are a group of 400 students and have decided to abstain from Ehtasaab March, simply because you are doing nothing about these defaulters and PML(N) is ready to counter this. This will surely ruin the March and we dont want this happening

RODE Microphone launches iXY stereo microphone for iOS:

Rode Microphones, one of the few Australian companies having a presence at CES, has announced a brand new stereo microphone designed for iOS devices called the iXY – allowing you to record high-quality audio on the fly.

Featuring two 1/2″ cardioid condenser microphones, the microphones are fixed in a 90 degree alignment; allowing for immersive, high quality stereo recordings when you need to record live music, meetings, lectures or even just doing basic reporting or dictation. It can also act as a microphone when recording video on a DSLR, instead of using the on-board mic

Panasonic’s Win8 Toughpad doesn’t have style, but will not break when dropped
Panasonic has released a brand new ruggerdised tablet under it’s Toughpad line for businesses. A 10.1-inch tablet running Windows 8, the Panasonic Toughpad FZ-G1 may not look as stunning as the Surface or the iPad; but, when you drop it, you’re not going to break the screen or make a dent on the body.

Toughpad are said, by Panasonic, to be tested under the US Military’s MIL-STD-810G for drops, fluid ingress and temperature to ensure that they do not break in circumstances where its rivals will. It also includes a daylight-viewable screen – basically meaning you don’t get any glare. Also, interesting thing is that the battery is removable – which probably will explain why it is really thick.

Internal specs include an 1.9GHz Ivy Bridge Core i5, a 128GB or 256GB SSD, 4-8GB of RAM with an optional microSD card, a USB 3.0 port, HDMI, USB 2.0 port, Ethernet port, true serial port, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi support, and an option to add 3G or 4G LTE.

This tablet will be available in March for US$2,899. You think that’s expensive – well, they also have cheaper Android tablets with a 10-inch one at US$1,299 and a 7-inch one for $1,199

HAPIfork, the first “smart fork”, helps you lose weight – by making you eat smarter:

So, you may have missed this – probably not, given it has taken the web by storm – but a company called HAPILABS has introduced the world to HAPIfork, the world’s first “smart fork” that promises to help you lose weight by improving the way you eat.

The fork has technology that will know how fast you are eating, and will give you gentle vibrations that don’t disrupt your meal or conversation – notifying you to slow down to slow you down to eat at an “optimal” pace. It will count the number of fork servings during a meal, and will record the exact times you start and end the meal, the amount of servings per minute and the duration of the meal. This data is then sent to your online account via USB to your computer, or Bluetooth to your smartphone.

According to HAPILABS, it will also reduce digestive problems by slowing down your eating pace, and decrease gastric reflux. Included with the fork is the online coaching program and social game, both to motivate you and to provide tips on how to eat smarter and healthier.

It starts at US$99 in blue, green, black, white and pink; and will start shipping in Q2 2013 for Kickstarter backers with the USB connection model. The Bluetooth model will start shipping to the US and France in Q3, before other countries in 2014.

Kingston makes 1TB USB flash drive, coming later in the year (yes, we are not kidding):

So yeah, remember five years ago when USB flash drives were just approaching 1GB? Those were the days. Now, Kingston is upping the game with the announcement that it will make a 512GB and 1TB USB flash drive. Called the DataTraveller HyperX Predator 3.0, the USB drives take full advantage of the new USB 3.0 fast data read/write speeds.

Thanks to USB 3.0, the Predator’s read speed is 240MB/s while write speeds are 160MB/s. Of course, this one is also backwards compatible with USB 2.0 – only with 30MB/s read and write speeds. And it is pretty much compatible with all the major operating systems, from Windows XP SP3 and above, Mac OS X version 10.6.x+ and Linux version 2.6.x+.

The drive’s casing is made from zinc alloy, giving some resilience when you accidentally drop it on the concrete ground.

TabletTail: Monkey Kit makes it possible to have a tablet stand, anywhere.

A company called Octa used CES to show off the TabletTail: Monkey Kit – a new hands-free stand that let you use your tablet anywhere as you can adjust it to suit a wide variety of angles, heights and positions. And there is no release date as of yet, because the makers have taken to Kickstarter to fund the building process.

The kit comes with two parts – the Vacuum Dock, which holds the tablet and e-reader with a high-powered suction; and the MonkeyTail, which is an adjustable, sturdy and flexible 3 feet stick, wrapped in silicon. All you need is to twist the tail to form some sort of stand.
