We are looking for a Project manager with a strong project management background, who has at least 3 years of programming experience. Candidate responsible for planning, overseeing and leading projects from ideation through to completion. This is a senior role at an organization and requires interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders, most often managing several moving project parts simultaneously.
As a Project Manager, you work closely with the team, identifying and specifying customer needs, prioritizing among possible new products and managing the product backlog with product management, so it is important you work well in teams and understand the value of the minimal viable product. As a person you are curious and with high communication skills. The position requires a lot of collaboration with colleagues and prepare the documentation of the project for future purpose.
Role and responsibilities:
• Strong agile leadership and communication skills for active stakeholder management
• Build and maintain the product backlog in cooperation with product management.
• Write user stories and epics for developers.
• Breakdown tasks – Prioritize platform and business-critical issues/products.
• Responsible for deciding how to implement features on the platform.
• Develop project management as a role and focus on continuous improvements.
• Determine the resources (efforts, budget, equipment, and resources) required to complete the project.
• Work closely with the product owner and the implementation teams
• Make sure that project goals and objectives are defined and understood by all team members
• Participate in project team members continues education and development.
• Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets defined project objectives and quality goals.
• Timely report on the project status to stakeholders.
• Ensure that all project documentation and records are up to date.
• Ensure that the project deliverable is on time.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a project manager/ product owner or similar.
• Ability to understand complex IT solutions.
• Expertise and experience in agile development methodologies is preferred.
• Be able to motivate the team to understand the business value
• A product owner or scrum master certification preferred.
• Working experience with Atlassian tools, Slack, TimeDoctor is preferred.
• Solid understanding & experience of project management disciplines
• Problem-solving.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: RS 110,000 to RS 140,000/Month
Experience: 5-6 years (Preferred)
Education: BS degree in Computer Science or related field, (Preferable MS in Project Management).
