We’re : Security Engineer (Karachi)

Softech Worldwide is looking for a Security Engineer to strengthen our secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) and embed security best practices across all stages of development. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in DevSecOps, secure coding, vulnerability management, and VAPT.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform vulnerability assessments and pe*******on testing on systems, networks, and applications
- Use industry-standard tools such as Nessus, Nmap, Metasploit, and Burp Suite
- Analyze findings, prepare detailed security reports, and recommend remediation strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and fix security issues
- Participate in red team exercises and help improve security policies and procedures
- Mentor junior team members and share security best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, Information Security, or a related field
- Strong understanding of security vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and exploitation techniques
- Hands-on experience with security testing tools
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Certifications like CEH, OSCP, or equivalent are a plus
