Per Government of Pakistan Finance Act 2021 applicable across Pakistan, residential customers whose names do not appear on the FBR’s active tax payer list will be charged 7.5% Advanced Income Tax on monthly electricity bills of Rs. 25,000 and above from 1st July 2021.
