Music Guide “FOR ALL YOUR PRO AUDIO NEEDS” the idea was came into being in 1992. It was as a part time activity of my father; he used to run this business from home and his automobiles showroom since 1992 under this name “MUSIC GUIDE” as a part time activity. My father and I are very interested in music; we both play Guitar and Keyboard, my father also a singer and performed many times on Pakistan
Television in the past. My father always has a passion and desire to use the latest audio equipment and musical instruments. In his free time he always used to keep himself busy with the pro audio magazines or internet researching to learn and gain knowledge about the latest technology and products because of his vast knowledge in the business, people always use to contact him and consult his advise for purchasing audio equipment and musical instruments which he used to source for them from different countries. In 2011 he had a heart attack and the doctors asked him to retired. In those days more and more youngsters were setting up their own music studios at home, the technology is so advanced now that it is easy for them to do so but they still look up to people like my father for his vast knowledge in the business. So within this year I have decided that we should open a proper showroom in Karachi to continue the prestige and hardworking of my father and do this business more precisely and seriously. As my father did a lots of effort and struggle to become well known audio consultant and has made such a good reputation all over the Pakistan. In 2012 we set up and opened our showroom Music Guide in Karachi along with an online web store for our domestic customers ease who lives in different cities of Pakistan but can’t come to Karachi from which we get a lot of business from all four major cities in Pakistan; we use well-known courier services to deliver our goods within the country. There are approximately more than 50 private TV Channels in Pakistan and we supply equipment to almost all of the major TV Channels like: TV ONE, NEWS ONE, ARY DIGITAL, GEO NEWS and EXPRESS NEWS Etc. I have travelled personally to China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Dubai, UK, Europe and USA to source contacts and obtain stock from other sub-dealers and distributors in these countries and became the first main distributor of Icon Global which is a Chinese company collaborated with US based partners in 2012. Due to high growth of business we have been approached by a UK based company Focusrite In 2013 and offered to became their distributor for Pakistan. In 2013 we became a distributor for the UK based companies Focusrite and Novation who are the well known manufacturer of pro audio equipment’s including high end audio interfaces and USB controllers, these companies are very well known for their products and quality worldwide. Later with the help of Pro Audio Trade Exhibitions, We made more relations with many other European, American and Chinese manufacturer companies under our distribution portfolio includes the famous Dynaudio, Art Pro Audio and Antelope Audio. Currently we are an authorised distributor for the following international companies but we do try to source whatever brands the customer requires on special orders.
