Five days from now, our feeds will turn green and white.
Our streets will fill with flags, fireworks, anthems, and messages of celebration as we mark 79 years of independence. 🇵🇰
But for many across the country, celebration does not come easily this year.
When families in Swat and KPK are asking for safety.
When people in AJK and Balochistan are asking for their fundamental rights.
When people in Karachi continue to face systemic neglect, failing infrastructure, and unanswered questions of justice.
Can we truly celebrate freedom while so many are still asking to be heard? 🚨
As a technology company, we talk about building the future. But there is no meaningful future without safety, dignity, and justice in the present.
We could have shared another celebratory Independence Day post. Instead, we chose to acknowledge what is happening around us.🎗️
Because patriotism should not require silence.
And independence should not mean looking away.
What does independence mean if it is not felt by everyone? 🕊️
This is not a rejection of Independence. It is a reminder that caring for Pakistan also means asking for better and supporting those who continue to stand, speak, and still see the good that exists among us. 💚
