Assalamualaikum.

Another Naz Plaza case,

Last week we received an RX 570 8GB in a ‘no power’ condition. When we opened it and inspected it, this was the state of its core from the inside. Now I honestly don’t understand what the benefit is of applying heat like this to the core that it has completely shifted from its place. On top of that, there are unnecessary damages in around 10 other spots as well. In this condition, there’s practically nothing we can do with the card. We informed the client and sent it back, advising them not to even pass by the shop of whoever worked on this card before.

We always advise our customers to keep their GPUs clean, as dust and rust can lead to serious issues over time.

This ASUS RTX 2060 Super was received by us last week in a “no detection” condition. When we opened it, this was the internal condition of the card. Most likely, the issue occurred due to excessive dust buildup.

We first performed a complete cleaning (service) and replaced the damaged components, successfully bringing the GPU back to life.

Kindly make sure to keep your GPUs clean. We also recommend getting a full service and thermal repasting done every 6-8 months, as it significantly improves the lifespan and performance of your GPU.

This is just an awareness post.

Over time, we've noticed that many people do not use a GPU sag mount with their graphics cards. As a result, the PCB can bend or get damaged, and in many cases, this directly affects the GPU core.

For GPUs-especially from NVIDIA's 20 series up to the 50 series-it is highly recommended to use a proper GPU sag mount. Even in our own main PCs at home, we have sag mounts properly installed.

These mounts are easily available on online platforms. If you can't find one locally from a reputable seller, you can conveniently purchase one from platforms like Daraz after checking reviews.

Using a sag mount can significantly increase the lifespan of your GPU and help prevent the issues caused by sagging.

We have observed that out of all the GPUs we receive, around 50-60% are damaged mainly due to poor maintenance. The most common reason is that users do not keep their GPUs clean. Dust and rust are both major enemies of a GPU they can cause corrosion and lead to multiple issues. In many cases, the damage becomes so severe that the GPU is no longer repairable.

We strongly recommend that you clean your GPU regularly ideally once a week, or at least once every 15 days. You can use a soft paintbrush to remove dust from the GPU, and then hold the fans in place while using a blower to clean the entire PC. This simple maintenance routine can significantly increase your GPU’s lifespan, improve performance, and reduce the chances of unexpected issues.

Assalam o Alaikum everyone,

These days we are noticing a very common issue: some technicians, when customers bring their graphics cards for repair, simply apply heat to the card to make it work temporarily.

Because of this, two things can happen:

Either the card starts working again, but in most cases it fails again within a week,
Or the card gets even more damaged.

For example, the GPU (main core) is a very delicate component basically the “heart” of the entire card. If unnecessary heat is applied to it, there are high chances that the core can die permanently, meaning the GPU may become completely unrepairable.

We have also received some cases where the issue was actually repairable and quite common. However, the problem was not properly diagnosed beforehand, and heat was applied instead.

Because of this, even after identifying and fixing the original issue later on, the GPU could not return to a working condition. If the card had been taken directly to a technician who properly diagnosed the problem in the first place, it might have been successfully repaired and brought back to working condition.

Just for awareness, I want to advise everyone: whenever you take your card to any technician especially in local markets please make sure they properly diagnose and fix the actual issue.

You don’t have to get it repaired from me I repeat, you don’t have to choose me but whoever you go to, make sure they diagnose the problem correctly instead of just applying heat and returning the card.

Assalam o Alaikum,

If your PC is not giving any display and you want to check whether your GPU is faulty, you can follow these steps:

First, check if your PC is receiving power for example, fans are spinning and lights are turning on.

If power is coming, then start by changing the GPU port. If that doesn’t fix the issue, try changing the display cable.

If the problem still persists, press the Num Lock key on your keyboard to check whether the PC is posting or not. If the PC is posting but there’s still no display, and your CPU has integrated graphics, try connecting the display directly through the motherboard.

If you get a display this way, it means your GPU is not being detected and is likely faulty.

As a final step, you can reseat the GPU once, or test it in another PC to confirm.

This will help you be sure whether the GPU is faulty or if another component is causing the issue.

We are sharing this post because sometimes we receive GPUs that are actually not faulty, and the issue turns out to be with another PC component.

To avoid wasting your time, you can first perform these checks and confirm whether the problem is with your GPU or some other component.
