Used to commit like: “updates”, “more-updates”, “final-updates”, “final-2”

Now it’s “project1”, “random-vibe-7”, “perfect-32”, “xyz-final-no-regrets”

thanks to vibe coding

Claude Opus 4.6 eats tokens like crazy. Anyone else have the same experience?

Codex 5.2 seems better than the previous update.

I feel that a lot of non-developer vibe coding just goes on and on without ever turning into a real product.

Somewhere along the way, you have to be clear and specific with the instructions you give to AI tools.

On the other hand, when you code with a real developer mindset. clear goals, clear steps. you almost always end up with something that works.

With clear instructions, AI becomes like a junior developer that actually delivers, not just a tool for endless ideas.

Some take: End users don’t care whether code was written by a dev or AI/vibe coding.

Maintainability is the real issue. seen too many “it works!” projects become nightmares when you try to update AI-generated spaghetti code 6 months later.

Crazy how I can build any software I thought existed in the past in a matter of days right now. Crazy.

Developers often feel super insecure when they see AI solving problems for non-programmers, problems that even they themselves sometimes struggle with.

We just need to accept the reality: AI is powerful and it’s the future.

I still remember the days when I had to scratch my head for hours on Stack Overflow, hunting for solutions and fixing random bugs. Now I can solve most of those same issues with a single prompt (plus maybe a bit of manual tweaking). And honestly you don’t even need to be a developer. I do the manual adjustments because it saves me time, but a non-coder can usually just write one more prompt and get it working.

Let’s accept it and move forward.

I’m editing my live site RIGHT NOW from my iPhone… no laptop, no VS Code, no stress. Claude is doing 90% of the work, and GitHub Pages just refreshes like magic.

Tell me you’re doing the same lazy-future-coding life, or I’m gonna feel too alone. 😂👇

Here is how you do it.

Here’s exactly how I’m doing it step by step:

1. Open the Claude app on iPhone
2. Chat with Claude like normal: “hey let’s build/edit my website.”
3. Tell Claude your GitHub repo name (the one already set up for GitHub Pages)
4. Let Claude write/fix the code (HTML, CSS, JS, whatever you want)
Say: “push this to my GitHub repo and commit it”
4. Open your site link on your phone → see the change instantly
5. Repeat forever from the sofa: “make header bigger” → “add funny meme” → “fix on mobile” → boom, live again

So my birthday today, another year full of learning and meeting amazing new people. Honestly, it’s been one of the best years so far in terms of growth and experience.

Thank you all for engaging with my content. I know I haven’t been very active over the past couple of months, but I’ll try to be around more often going forward.

Happy New Year.

Looking ahead, there are a few clear goals for the coming year. The progress made in learning AI and web development has been encouraging, and maintaining that momentum is important.

Alongside this, one of the main goals is to build a strong understanding of trading and finance through a steady and consistent learning approach.

What are your goals?
