From Pakistan, to the world — AI is turning vision into impact.

Just days ago, British High Commissioner Jane Marriott visited Fecto Cement alongside senior FBR officials to witness wAI Industries’ Digital Eye System in action.

Built on its AI stack, AlaraOS, Digital Eye monitors production and analyses historical patterns, industry averages and anomalies to create an end-to-end data lineage — from procurement, through production, to sales — enabling full visibility into tax revenues.

During the visit, the British High Commissioner highlighted Digital Eye as a powerful example of UK–Pakistan collaboration delivering practical change.

Today, the technology is operating across Pakistan’s cement sector, helping bring a new level of transparency and intelligence to industrial monitoring.

And the recognition didn’t stop there.

Last night, wAI Industries took the stage at the HBL P@SHA ICT Awards 2026 — and came home with two honours: Gold and Merit.

In 2025, Pakistan’s cement and sugar sectors faced an estimated PKR 100 billion tax gap.

The existing stamping system was struggling to provide reliable, continuous visibility. In factory environments, stamps could come off, manual intervention was difficult to track, and reported production did not always tell the full story.

FBR and FCDO came to wAI with a clear challenge: monitor production at scale.

We built Digital Eye, a micro-application on our core platform, Alara OS.

Using computer vision, Digital Eye detects and counts production, then compares that data against historical patterns, industry benchmarks, consumption and other inputs to surface anomalies and possible under-reporting.

The first pilot ran at Fecto Cement for a year.

Once proven, Digital Eye was deployed across Pakistan’s cement sector in one month. Two months later, the sugar sector followed in 45 days.

The result: an estimated PKR 100 billion tax gap reduced to PKR 40 billion, representing approximately PKR 60 billion in additional tax collection.

What began as an FCDO-supported pilot is now being scaled by FBR across additional industries.

One problem. One pilot. One system built to make the invisible visible.

One factory. One funded pilot. A year of proving it could work.

Fecto Cement was where Digital Eye first went live - backed by FCDO funding, visited by the British High Commissioner while it was still unproven. It took over a year to get right, because nothing like it had been deployed at this scale before.

Since then: 28 cement plants, 83 sugar mills, and PKR 60 billion in additional taxes raised - all traced back to a tax gap FBR had struggled to close for years.

A small model that corrects itself in hours beats a giant one updated once a quarter. We proved it: a 500M-parameter model closed the gap to GPT-4o-scale performance by retraining and resizing itself, landing a ~51% accuracy gain over its base.
