As part of the Mari Kissan Dost Programme (MKDP), BaKhabar Kissan, in collaboration with Mari Energies Limited, successfully conducted comprehensive women empowerment trainings in Daharki, equipping rural women with practical skills to create sustainable livelihood opportunities through value addition and entrepreneurship.
The training covered:
- Personal Hygiene & Food Safety
- Chopping & Cutting Techniques
- Plum Sauce, Murabba, and Pickle Preparation
- Kitchen Gardening
- Handicraft Skills
- Basic E-commerce Awareness for Product Marketing
The sessions were conducted by Hira Mahfooz, Community and Agriculture Specialist at BaKhabar Kissan, who provided hands-on training on value addition, product quality, entrepreneurship, and market readiness, enabling participants to transform locally available resources into marketable products.
