This International Women’s Day at MicroAgility APAC, we chose to celebrate not just the incredibly talented women in our workforce, but also their friendships, the ones we captured in candid moments, in shared glances, in endless laughter and in the kind of support that needs no words, at the Iftar dinner we hosted in their honor.
For women, friendships have always existed in the simple in-betweens of life - in the knowing looks across a room, in helpful advice, in fixing each other’s hair without asking, in capturing each other’s pictures with love till they get the perfect shot (a stereotype they wear as a badge of honor), in strength borrowed and given back without measure. Perhaps that is why all friendships feel too precious to give and too priceless to gain, less like something we find and more like something that just happens to us, natura(ally) and effortlessly!
And we at MicroAgility APAC find ourselves lucky to have such amazing women who hold our fort and do so quite capably and the friendships that empower them every day.
