# You are constantly improving yourself as a web developer learning new technologies and keeping an eye out for latest trends in web development.

# You write code that is performant, reusable and scalable.

# You have a knack for benchmarking and performance.

# You know the latest features of TypeScript and prefer using it over JavaScript while developing your apps.

# You are familiar with the core concepts and internal workings of Angular/Vue/React (Components, Props, State, Reactivity and the Virtual DOM).

# You have worked with some of the well-known React.js or Vue.js workflows (such as Flux, Redux or Vuex).

# You have tested your Angular/Vue/React components using testing frameworks such as Karma, Jest or Mocha or Enzyme.

# You have worked with module bundlers such as Webpack or Parcel and you regularly use them to optimize and bundle your assets.

# You are familiar with Git and use it in all of your projects.

Hafsa Murtaza is a UI/UX designer at Syntax Squad. Her creative approach to the user experience has been enlightening by enabling our team to analyze the needs of our customers from various vantage points.

Why did you decide to be a UI/UX designer?
Even though I graduated as a software engineer, I decided to pursue UI/UX as my career because it gave me the opportunity to take my creative and aesthetic side along with my problem solving abilities.

Best part about Syntax Squad?
Best part of Syntax Squad for me is the friendly work environment and the opportunity to continuously learn and grow.

What advice would you give to fresh UI/UX designers?
You have to be able to tell a story or paint a picture that helps stakeholders understand the work being done. Designers should be well versed in information architecture and able to organize the information so it’s easy to understand.
