Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and organized Education Program Coordinator to join our team, dedicated to improving educational outcomes in government schools across Pakistan. This role involves coordinating efforts to restructure and enhance the quality of education, working closely with school administrators, teachers, and local education officials. The ideal candidate is passionate about education reform, enjoys travelling, and has strong communication and project management skills.
Responsibilities:
Program Coordination & Implementation:
Oversee the implementation of education programs aimed at restructuring and improving government schools in Punjab.
Work with school administrators and teachers to support new educational practices and technology integrations.
Ensure program objectives are clearly communicated and effectively implemented at each school.
School Visits & Stakeholder Engagement:
Regularly visit schools in different cities across Punjab to assess current educational needs and gather feedback.
Build strong relationships with school staff, local government officials, and community leaders to support program goals.
Conduct workshops, training sessions, and orientations for teachers and school leaders on program components.
Monitoring & Reporting:
Track the progress of program activities, gathering data and feedback from schools to evaluate impact.
Prepare detailed reports on program milestones, successes, challenges, and recommendations for improvements.
Collaborate with the internal team to ensure that the program remains on schedule and meets quality standards.
Resource Allocation & Support:
Coordinate the distribution of educational resources, materials, and tools to schools as needed.
Provide hands-on support and guidance to schools in effectively utilizing program resources.
Identify resource gaps and recommend solutions to enhance program delivery.
Program Development & Continuous Improvement:
Contribute ideas and insights for program development, based on on-the-ground experience with schools.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to refine program strategies and approaches for maximum impact.
Remain updated on educational trends and best practices relevant to government school reform.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Education, Social Sciences, or a related field; Masters degree in Education or Project Management is a plus.
2+ years of experience in program coordination, education reform, or community outreach, preferably within the public education sector.
Willingness to travel frequently across Sindh and stay in different cities as needed.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects effectively.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to engage diverse stakeholders.
Passionate about improving educational standards in underserved communities.
Proficient in MS Office Suite and familiarity with data collection tools or educational technology platforms.
