Asus Eee PC X101 $199 MeeGo-Based Netbook Specs Officially Revealed

It has a 0.7″ thin chassis at its thickest point in white, red, or brown color and a weight of 1.98 pounds with the standard 3-cell battery, which provides 4 hours of run time on a signle charge.

The mini laptop sports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0 connections, a 0.3MP we**am, stereo speakers, two USB ports, and an SD/SDHC/MMC media card reader. It apparently doesn’t have any video output port.

There’s no official info on the US availability date, but it is expected to start shipping in August or September.

Asustek will also offer the Eee PC X101H, a Windows 7-based version of the netbook.
