Your dermatology clinic can offer 20 treatments — but that does NOT mean one “Services” page can rank for all 20.
This is one of the most common structural problems I see when looking at healthcare websites.
The misconception
Many clinics think:
“We offer acne treatment, Botox, laser treatments, skin cancer care and several other services. We can simply list them all on one page.”
Technically, you can.
Strategically, that can make it much harder for Google to understand which page is the best answer for each patient search.
What is actually happening?
A patient searching:
“Acne dermatologist near me”
has a different intent from someone searching:
“Botox dermatologist near me”
And that's different again from:
“Mohs surgery dermatologist near me.”
The treatment, patient need, medical expertise and local relevance are not identical.
Your website should make those relationships clear.
A better structure
Instead of:
Services
→ Acne
→ Botox
→ Laser
→ Skin Cancer
→ Rosacea
→ Chemical Peels
→ Fillers
Consider building dedicated, medically useful treatment pages where appropriate:
/acne-treatment/
/botox/
/laser-treatments/
/skin-cancer-treatment/
/rosacea-treatment/
Each page can then clearly establish:
What treatment/problem is being addressed
Who provides the treatment
What the patient should know
Where the clinic is located
What makes the practice relevant
How the patient can take the next step
Here's the important part:
That's how I approach Dermatology SEO:
Make the relationship between the patient, treatment, dermatologist, clinic and location unmistakably clear.
