Culminating Activity of Nutrition Month 2025

The TLE department successfully concluded the celebration of Nutrition Month 2025 by holding a culminating activity on July 31, 2025, at the Zambales National High School covered court. The event was spearheaded by the TLE Department faculty staff and the TLE Club Officers with the full support of the school principal, Sir Allan Carbonell, and TLE Department Head Teacher, Mam Nerrie Joyce Domalanta. The program was formally opened with welcome remarks from Dr. Jessica Jean Sepillo, Assistant School Principal. The opening was followed by a parade of Nutrition Month costumes worn by selected Grade 7 students. An energetic Zumba dance led by Sir Eugene Ditapat, TLE faculty member, and the TLE Club officers amazed the audience. The final part of the program was the awarding of medals and certificates to winners of the Slogan-making, Poster-making, Digital Poster-making, and Nutriquiz Bee contests, as well as certificates for other stakeholders who contributed to and supported the school Nutrition Month celebration. All these activities took place while participating students enjoyed delicious “Lugaw,” meticulously prepared by Iba LGU and SB Kuya Carl Eric Rico. All students, teachers, school staff, and those who witnessed the event were excited and enjoyed the Nutrition Month celebration.

"Helping hands and healthy hearts nourish growing minds!" ❤️👩‍⚕️
With the support and guidance of our School Principal, Sir Allan Carbonell, and our Department Head Teacher, Mam Nerrie Joyce Domalanta, the TLE Department, led by Mam Leonor Manalo and Sir Jarad Sevilla, in partnership with our school nurse, Mr. Kristoffer Millado, and Sir Dondon Lemque, organized a feeding activity to provide nourishment and nutrition education to students during Nutrition Month 2025. This initiative offered balanced meals to enhance student health and learning, showcased our school's commitment to fostering a child-friendly environment, and aligned with national efforts to address childhood nutrition needs. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers who contributed to the success of this initiative! The smiles and enthusiasm of our students demonstrate that healthy eating and education go hand in hand."
