Hi everyone,
Recently we have spotted a scam in Facebook which says that “Your Page will be Disabled! Please re-confirm your account to avoid blocking…”
Do not panic if you see this message in our notification window but be extra cautious.
DO NOT CLICK ON ANY OF THE LINKS PROVIDED BY THE FACEBOOK SHARED POST AND/OR EMAIL!
What to do?
1. Check your email and Permanently Delete the Email Notification from Facebook about the shared post.
2. Hide the notification in Facebook to stop the spread of this malicious post. (Currently there’s no option to delete their post but we're researching on it)
What happened?
1. A certain page named “Confirmation Your Account” has shared/posted your page and added some description/message upon sharing it that says something like the following.
2. The page account administrator/s will receive an email notification about the shared post.
Share the information to warn and alert everyone...
