Running a legal business in the Philippines can feel like an uphill battle.
You follow the rules, secure permits, pay taxes, and comply with regulations yet the costs keep piling up. Profit margins shrink, and sometimes you even end up covering expenses out of your own pocket just to keep things afloat.
I understand how business really is sometimes you win, and most of the time you lose. That’s part of the journey. But isn’t it unfair when the ones who seem to get ahead are those who don’t even contribute to the welfare of the nation?
Meanwhile, others operate without worrying about legalities and seem to thrive with fewer obstacles.
It’s frustrating trying to do things the right way, to build something honest, and to contribute to the country only to feel like the system isn’t supporting you in return.
But for those who choose integrity, will there ever come a time when doing business the right way is truly rewarded instead of punished?
Maka frustrate man sad diay. ☹️
