The Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC), through its Planning and Public Information Service (PPIS), held a Cyber Drill Tabletop Exercise on 05 February 2026, featuring Mr. Semi Yulianto, DIT, DCS, CISSP, as part of its continuing efforts to strengthen cybersecurity preparedness, enhance its capability to respond to potential cyber threats, and support its ongoing digital transformation initiatives, including compliance with the requirements of ISO/IEC 27001.
The exercise was conducted with the support of Euodoo Technologies Inc., the Commission’s cybersecurity service provider, and brought together middle and senior management officials and key personnel in a simulation designed to evaluate decision-making processes, improve inter-office coordination, and reinforce incident response capabilities. Through scenario-based cyber incidents, participants practiced timely and appropriate response actions, while also reviewing standard operating procedures and assessing the effectiveness of existing information security measures.
This Cyber Drill Workshop forms part of ERC’s broader initiatives to reinforce information security and ensure reliable and secure digital operations in the delivery of public service, underscoring the Commission’s continued commitment to protecting critical systems and data in support of its regulatory mandate and service to electricity consumers
