At ELYON, “Celebrating Our Students” goes beyond geography—it reflects our belief in supporting the nextgeneration of talent wherever they are.
This month, we are proud to recognize a remarkable group of nine college students who completed their Internship with our offshore company, ELYON Global Technology Asia (EGTA) in the Philippines.
Representing Systems Technology Institute (STI) Colleges Balayan Campus and Lemery Colleges, thesestudents—majoring in Information Technology and Computer Engineering—successfully completed 486 hours ofon-the-job training from February 16 to May 14, 2026.
A segment of the team was entrusted with the development of Project Adsum, an advanced school attendancemonitoring system designed for a parochial school. Through their hard work, they successfully developed and tested amobile application that automatically notifies parents whenever their children enter or leave the school grounds. The system also allows security personnel to immediately verify a student’s and guardian’s details on a monitor with everyscan, while enabling the faculty to effortlessly track the real-time attendance of both students and staff.
The remaining trainees channeled their efforts into building and testing a comprehensive business managementsystem tailored for managed printing services. This sophisticated platform integrates a service desk ticketing system,an intelligent inventory management system, a client and contract management module, and an automated reportingsystem. Throughout their internship, the entire team was trained in a variety of modern open-source technologies forboth user interfaces and behind-the-scenes systems. They learned to navigate the software development lifecycle usinga contemporary vibe-coding methodology, managed their workflows through advanced project management tools,set up localized virtual environments on open-source operating systems, and strictly adhered to corporate coding standards.
Remarkably, they achieved all of this while learning to collaborate seamlessly as a unified team, despite beingcomplete strangers at the beginning of the program.Reflecting on their journey, there is immense pride in what these students have achieved. This marks the third successful partnership between ELYON ASIA and local academic institutions, and each iteration continues to producehigh-quality graduates.
The company looks forward to sustaining these fruitful engagements and expanding theprogram to other schools in the future. This milestone represents the steady realization of a long-term vision to inspireand guide local technology graduates to fully embrace and thrive in the fast-paced tech industry, clearing a path foreven more aspiring professionals to succeed in the field.
