On May 8, 2026, Dr. Yanga's Colleges, Inc. located in Bocaue, officially signed a three-year partnership agreement with AECO Energy — a meaningful milestone in the institution’s journey toward smarter, more sustainable, and energy-efficient campus operations.
The signing ceremony was attended by college administrators and faculty leaders, together with key officers and representatives from AECO Energy and EvoEnergi, celebrating the beginning of a forward-looking collaboration.
Established in 1950, Dr. Yanga’s Colleges Inc. has been a trusted institution of learning in Bulacan for over 70 years — nurturing generations of professionals across business, education, engineering, and the arts. With a sprawling campus and thousands of students served each year, energy management is a critical component of the college’s operational sustainability.
“The reason behind this is really something different; it is not just to save money for the institution. We are supporting around a thousand scholars. Ninety percent of our basic education students are beneficiaries of the government’s voucher system. In addition to that, 60% of those students are scholars of this school. Imagine ‒ they already have the voucher, and we also have our own initiative to give them discounts and full academic scholarships. And that’s not only in basic education. We want to save ‒ to save more lives through education. Education is our heart; it’s about changing the lives of people. That’s why every facet of our existence here in DYCI should be met with efficiency and effectiveness, and one of these is energy savings.”
