🚨 IT Advisory: Windows 11 Update Bug (KB5063878) Affecting SSDs/HDDs

The latest Windows 11 update (KB5063878) is causing problems for some users. Reports show that SSDs and HDDs may freeze, disappear, or even lose data, especially during big file transfers (like copying 50GB+ of data).

📝 What you need to know:

The problem happens after installing the August 2025 update.

Mostly affects certain SSDs, but any drive could be at risk.

Microsoft is already investigating and will release a fix soon.

✅ What you can do for now:

Back up your files as soon as possible.

Avoid moving very large files until the issue is fixed.

If your PC starts acting up, you can consider removing the update temporarily.

This is also a good reminder to always keep a backup of your important files—just in case.
