February 28, 2018 โ Solano, Nueva Vizcaya, a small computer shop was born. It wasnโt grand. It wasnโt perfect. It was new, inexperienced, and full of uncertainties โ but it was driven by determination. The early months were far from easy. There were errors, system crashes, unstable connections, and countless moments of doubt. Many nights were spent awake, studying the system, troubleshooting problems, and going through endless trial and error just to make sure everything would run smoothly the next day. It was a journey of learning things the hard way โ in the dark, but never without hope.
The shop slowly found its rhythm. The seats were filled with students after school, workers unwinding after long shifts, and gamers shouting in excitement during intense matches. The sound of keyboards clicking rapidly, mice dragging across mousepads, and friends cheering side by side became the shopโs heartbeat. It became more than just a place to play โ it became a community hub. Tournaments, friendly rivalries, late-night grinding, shared victories, and even shared defeats created memories that linger to this day. For a while, everything felt alive, vibrant, and unstoppable.
But in a single moment, everything changed!
The pandemic struck. Lockdowns lasted for nearly three years. The doors remained closed, the monitors turned off, and the once-lively room fell silent. Yet the rent and internet bills never stopped. Payments continued even when income did not. Debts remained unpaid. Losses piled up. It was painful. Discouraging. At times, it felt like everything built from sweat and sleepless nights might simply fade away.
Mid-2023 marked a slow reopening. The lights turned on again, one unit at a time. But things were no longer the same. The hype had shifted. Rules of Survival was gone. Online games had become cross-platform, allowing players to stay at home and still compete. Foot traffic was lighter. Familiar faces had moved on. The atmosphere felt different โ quieter, more uncertain. It was heartbreaking, but it was reality.
Still, the story did not end there.
Some customers left, but new ones arrived. Some acquaintances became genuine friends. Some relationships faded, while others grew stronger over time. Many of the young players who once filled those seats have now graduated, chasing bigger dreams beyond the shopโs walls. Some are building their own careers, finding success in different fields, and stepping into adulthood with confidence. Watching them grow has been one of the quiet rewards of this journey. Through every setback and every small comeback, the lesson remained the same: Keep going. Keep learning. Keep adapting. Keep discovering better systems, better strategies, better ways to survive in a changing world.
To everyone who supported the journey โ loyal customers, friends, and family โ through every high and every low, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your presence, encouragement, and trust kept the doors from closing permanently. Eight years is not just a number; it is a testament to resilience, sacrifice, and community.
Today, we celebrate not just an anniversary, but survival.
Happy 8th Anniversary โ and may we continue moving forward, together. ๐ซถ
