ANTI-CYBERBULLYING CAMPAIGN
INTRODUCTION
Cyberbullying is bullying that takes place over digital devices like cellphones, computers, and tablets. It can occur through SMS, Text, and apps or online in social media forums or gaming where people can view, participate in, or share content. Cyberbullying includes sending, posting or sharing negative, harmful, false, or mean content about someone else. It can include sharing personal or private information about someone else causing embarrassment or humiliation. Some cyberbullying crosses the line into unlawful or criminal behavior.
MISSION AND VISION
MISSION
To educate, engage, inspire and empower youth about cyberbullying to take action and bring about positive change for the purpose of preventing youth crime and violence and creating safe, healthy and thriving environments for children and families.
VISION
Our vision is to eliminate cyberbullying in our society by supporting our students and their families to take positive actions against cyberbullying through the sharing of resources and to guide them in creating nonviolent solutions to the challenges and problems associated with cyberbullying.
PURPOSE
This aims to increase awareness, understanding and use of the key skills to build millennials personal and social capability including self-management, social- management to enhance pro-social and discourage anti-social behavior
DESCRIPTION
This campaign is all about understanding and prevention of cyberbullying. Cyberbullying is one of the problems in our country because in our research 95 percent of social media using teens who have witnessed cruel behavior on networking sites say that the bullying is usually ignored, 84 percent also report having seen people defend the person being harassed.
