4:30AM | Another blood extraction.
Blood extractions have become part of my daily life. 🩸
Almost every day, may blood extraction. I honestly don’t even count the needles anymore. Nasanay na rin ako sa sakit. It has become part of this journey.🥹
But every time my blood is drawn, I find myself reflecting on Jesus.👆
Napapaisip ako… if seeing a few tubes of my own blood already makes me feel weak sometimes, how much more the blood that Christ willingly shed for us? I wonder how much blood He shed to save us from our sins. I think about the pain He endured, the weight of the cross He carried, the nails driven through His hands and feet, and the sacrifice He willingly made out of love for us.
That kind of love is beyond human understanding.
As I walk through this battle with cancer, I realize that pain has a way of changing your perspective. It teaches you to appreciate life, to hold on to faith, and to remember that even in suffering, God is present.
Sa bawat blood extraction, it reminds me that my doctors are doing everything they can to heal my body. But it also reminds me of the precious blood of Christ that brought healing and redemption to my soul.
This journey is not easy, but neither was the road to Calvary.
So when another needle comes, I whisper a prayer. I thank God for another day, another chance to fight, and another reminder that the greatest act of love was already finished on the cross.
“By His wounds, we are healed.” — Isaiah 53:5 ✝️🤍
