INTERNET SLOWDOWN, RAMDAM N’YO RIN BA?

May ilang internet users sa Pilipinas ang nakararanas ng mabagal na koneksyon at mataas na latency kasunod ng naiulat na disruption sa EAC-C2C submarine cable system.

Ayon sa mga ulat, ang C2C Hong Kong segment ay kasalukuyang nasa maintenance habang ang C2C Singapore segment ay naiulat na down. Dahil dito, nire-reroute ang bahagi ng international internet traffic sa alternative network paths.
Ilan sa mga telco at carriers na gumagamit ng cable system ay Telstra, Converge, Globe, PLDT at iba pa. Maaari itong magresulta sa mabagal na pag-load ng websites at online services, mas mataas na latency, at intermittent connectivity para sa ilang users.
